Coach Alessi comes from a long line of lacrosse success in his family. A standout player at Branford and Quinnipiac, Alessi became the second coach in school history taking the reigns of the ND lacrosse program for the 2014 season. In each of his four years, he has led the Green Knights to double-digit wins each season. ND had its best year in school history winning 13 games and advancing to the semi-final round of the CIAC Class M tournament for the first time in the spring of 2015, after which he garnered New Haven Register Coach of the Year honors. Alessi, who was a high school All-American at Branford and helped lead Quinnipiac University to the league playoffs in each of his four years as a Bobcat, is a paraprofessional at East Haven HS and has a Master’s Degree in Education from Quinnipiac University. Alessi was a four-year letter winner in soccer and lacrosse at Branford. |
