Rich Andreozzi who replaced long-time cross country coach Bill Parkinson after the 2015 season, coached his first cross-country team at Notre Dame in the fall of 2016. He also assists with the indoor track team during their season. His cross country teams annually qualify for the SCC and Class L championship meets while also being competitive in the dual-meet portion of their season. He has previous coaching experience manning the cross country and track positions at Polson Middle School in Madison. An avid runner, he is a member of the New Haven Road Runners Club. Andreozzi, who was a standout soccer and baseball player at Hamden HS in the late 1970’s, is currently employed by the North Branford Public Schools following a 33-year career with the State of Connecticut in their Department of Children and Families. |
