Mrs. Whittaker holds a B.A. in English as well as an M.A. in International Relations from Salve Regina University. She then went on to earn an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Iowa State University. Mrs. Whittaker has been a dedicated member of the English department since 2001, and has also served as the department chair. Recently, Mrs. Whittaker rescued Ally, an incredibly resilient dachshund from Arkansas. Mrs. Whittaker is also dedicated to taking care of her family, friends, and ND students. Providing safety and care to others, and creating a place, literally or figuratively, where others can not only live as they are, but also grow into their individual potential is of high importance to her. A fun fact about Mrs. Whittaker is that her dream trips are to the Galapagos, South Pole and South Africa! |
