Employed Since: 2018 Biography:
Dr. Gleason is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame, who loves being back "home" teaching Latin and English. He received his B.A. in Classics from Fairfield University, his M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Virginia, and his Ph.D. in Linguistics from Yale University. He lives in Branford with his wife Michelle, who has her Ph.D. in Art History and is the Curator of Education at the Fairfield University Museum of Art, as well as an Assistant Professor in the university's Department of Visual and Performing Arts. Although they both share a love for all things Connecticut, Dr. Gleason and Michelle try to visit Europe whenever they have the chance. A fun fact about Dr. Gleason is that he lived in Italy for over a year while his wife Michelle was a Fellow at the American Academy in Rome, and as a result loves all things Italian - the food, the language, the people and (of course) the wine! Dr. Gleason ‘03 serves as one of the co-moderators for BRO and for the Knights Errant (ND's hiking club). |
