Employed Since: 2015 Robert F. Curis, a native of West Hartford with an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master Degree from Georgetown University is the 11th President of Notre Dame High School and its first lay leader. He has served as Assistant Head of School at the Whitby School in Greenwich Ct, was the founding Dean of the American University in Kosovo and has active classroom teaching experience at every level of education from kindergarten through graduate student. He served as the director of The European Centre of Minority Issues in Kosovo where he established the Prishtina School of Politics and led a multi-ethnic standing technical working group focusing on education, healthcare, finance, and youth issues. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Albania — where he met his wife — and as a teaching fellow at the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, and as a Holy Cross Associate Volunteer in Portland, Oregon. Robert and his wife Edlira have three children: Emma, a senior at Sacred Heart Academy, Reamon at sophomore at Notre Dame, and Fiona a freshman at Sacred Heart Academy. |
