Varsity Banquet
Our student-athletes had much to celebrate this year, from State and League championships in multiple sports to individual achievements and records. On April 30, we honored the accomplishments of all of our varsity athletes. Reamon Curis, All-State, All-New England, All-American, and Connecticut’s Soccer Player of the Year, was named Athlete of the Year, the top honor for a Notre Dame athlete. Tremaine Barr was the recipient of the prestigious Cavanaugh Award. Tremaine will be attending the University of New Haven. Noah Wilson (Soccer) was named Assistant Coach of the Year, and Ken Pierson (Swim) was named Thomas Marcucci ‘66 Coach of the Year.
Honors Convocation
While the spotlight in the spring is largely on our graduating seniors, the Honors Convocation recognizes the academic talents of all of our students. Students were honored as the top students in all academic departments, members of honor societies, and recipients of college book awards. The evening culminated with the announcement of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of 2025. Ryan Bereski was named Valedictorian, and will be continuing his education at Brown University in the fall. David Alberino, Jr. was named Salutatorian, and will be attending Northeastern University.
