This year's freshman soccer team is currently undefeated and primed for a matchup against Xavier tomorrow night at home on Marcucci Field. The Xavier freshman are also entering the game without a loss this season so this matchup promises to be a true test, and potentially the key to an undefeated season for both teams. The Green Knights have been led by Cristian Habiniak, who has scored 18 goals in just eight games. The team has defeated Guilford twice, Prep, Hand, and Cheshire, all perennial powers in the SCC. Brody Burns has also been a bright spot, connecting on four set pieces this season. Defensemen, Emmanuel Benitez, Luke Boffa, Daniel Glenney, and Dmitri Razmakhnin have been solid on the backline all year, but when break downs have happened more times than not goalkeeper, Salvatore Vadala, has been up to the challenge.
